Thank you for continuing to write on this topic, Jo! I’m sure there are a few things that would be helpful to see in this area that would provide a catalyst for pursuing God’s calling. Something that just came to mind is more writing and speaking that gives theological underpinning to the call of women to leadership. You’re absolutely right to mention the lives of women in the early church (and more recent church) as helpful. I would be so encouraged to see leading men and women publishing and preaching encouragement from the Word for women to lead in their churches, whatever “church” looks like for them.

Thank you, again, for engaging in this dialogue.

Powerful and refreshing. Thank you sistafriend for sharing with us all at Sisterhood!! I will never be the same after last weekend! I told my sister-in-law to look you up since she lives in LA. I hope that she is able to hear you speak locally some time soon.

Jo-the CHOSEN conference has been described as “A spa for my soul” to which I heartily say Amen!!! Your time on the stage, speaking to us, making us laugh, exhausting us as you paced so firmly back and forth, back and forth speaking the whole time to our hearts, our souls, our minds – wow!!

Thank you so much for speaking at the Chosen conference. I hate to admit that I have trouble remembering a lesson sometimes. But I don’t think I’ll ever forget your lesson on having our feet washed and using that power to wash other’s feet. You are such a talented speaker and I can’t thank you enough for sharing that talent with us.

The conference having you, Lisa Bevere and Helen Lee could not have been any more timely in the lives of myself and the women I attended with. It is not until we all use the example of Jesus and “wash each other’s feet” that we will truly fulfill the destiny that God has for us all. Thanks to the leadership at Seacoast who stayed focused on all the unifying aspects that make us all “sisters” and therefore daughters of the King! We will pray for your ministry and that of the larger ministry of 3DM family of which we belong!
